OUR STORY
How We Got Here
We were founded in 2018 by Cara and Mark - two former professional dancers, instructors and creative types and have been operating in Calgary ever since. After renting space all over the city for many years it became increasingly difficult to find creative space at affordable rates. TheRoomYYC was born. We are currently the permanent home for the Casey O'Loughlin Academy of Irish Dance and we hope
to welcome many more groups in the future.
STUDIOS TO RENT
We have two awesome dance studios for rent. Both are equipped with sprung floors, dance marley, mirrors and sound systems.
Perfect for all types of dance, yoga, photography and fitness.
Sorry no parties, alcohol or food allowed at this time.
We are situated at a central location just off Glenmore Trail and Blackfoot Trail with lots of free parking available.
