OUR STORY
How We Got Here
We were founded in 2018 by Cara and Mark - two former professional dancers, instructors and creative types and have been operating in Calgary ever since. After renting space all over the city for many years it became increasingly difficult to find creative space at affordable rates. TheRoomYYC was born. We are currently the permanent home for the Casey O'Loughlin Academy of Irish Dance and we hope
to welcome many more groups in the future.
STUDIOS TO RENT
We have two awesome dance studios for rent. Both are equipped with sprung floors, dance marley, mirrors and sound systems.
Perfect for ALL types of dance, including styles that are sometimes turned away by other studios such as Tap, Heel dancing and Flamenco!
Also great for yoga, photography or whatever your needs!
We are situated at a central location just off Glenmore Trail and Blackfoot Trail with lots of free parking available.
